Underwater a diver must monitor several gauges to receive the crucial information about the dive: depth, time, tank pressure, decompression status and direction to name just a few. Suunto D9 combines all dive-critical information in one instrument, conveniently mounted on your wrist. Instead of monitoring a multitude of gauges, you can concentrate on what is important - diving. Suunto D9 is the world's first dive computer to incorporate a digital compass. The compass shows the general direction with a graphical compass rose, as well as the exact bearing with a numerical display. Headings can be stored in Suunto D9's memory for later analysis. The compass can naturally be used on land too. By using Suunto D9's optional wireless transmitter, the diver can also monitor tank pressure and air consumption data from the wrist. The remaining tank pressure is displayed both numerically and graphically, and an estimation of the remaining air-time is given throughout the dive. This allows the diver to monitor the remaining air supply at the same time as he monitors depth and time. Real time air consumption is also stored in the memory. Suunto D9 can be used with up to three different gas mixes containing 21-100% oxygen, allowing gas switching during the dive. Decompression calculations are based on the Suunto Deep Stop RGBM model, which provides iterative deep stops as an alternative to traditional safety stops. For those intending to go really deep, the maximum depth display is set at 200m [660ft]. In addition to basic dive data, the built-in dive logbook provides a graphical dive profile where real time water temperature and tank pressure data can be analyzed on the wristop computer. The sampling rate can be set to as low as 1s. The beautifully designed Suunto D9 has a titanium housing and includes an USB-compatible PC interface and the Suunto Dive Manager 2.0 software. The S6 is specifically designed for Skiing applications and features an Altimeter, Barometer, Thermometer, Compass, Watch, Slope Angle and PC Downloading. The S6 calculates speed based on the altimeter and clinometer. The altimeter and the clinometer work together and count the exact speed of the user on a vertical performance. The skichrono enables spontaneous races between skiers as well as systematic training. The logbook counts your runs, and tells their cumulated vertical distance. It also records a detailed altitude profile, which gives a totally new level to your after-ski discussions. Once your data is downloaded, you can review it with the included software, and upload it to SuuntoSports.com, where you can interact with fellow enthusiasts and organize / participate in virtual competitions (in other words: it took me 6 days to climb Everest, how long did it take you?). Κι αν ασκείστε, γιατί να μην το κάνετε με τέτοιο τρόπο ώστε κάθε προπόνηση να σας προσφέρει το μέγιστο δυνατό; Έρευνα του Background Για το σχεδιασμό του t6, η Suunto συνεργάστηκε με το Ινστιτούτο Ερευνών των Ολυμπιακών Αθλημάτων (KIHU), που λειτουργεί σε συνδυασμό με το Πανεπιστήμιο Jyväskylä και τη Firstbeat Technologies Ltd, μια εταιρεία που εστιάζει στη μελέτη της υπερπροπόνησης από κορυφαίους αθλητές. Suunto's unique digital compass is also found in the Suunto D6 and shows divers the direction in which they are heading both graphically and numerically. The Suunto D6 has three modes; Air, Nitrox, and Gauge. Divers can choose between making traditional shallow safety stops or, with the deep stops function activated, making safety stops at depth. The log book memory and graphical dive profile give real time water temperature, which can be seen on the wristop computer's display. The Suunto D6 can store over 100 hours of profile memory. The dive history shows the total number of dives and how many hours of dives the computer has logged. The dive planner enables repetitive dive planning. Watch functions include stopwatch, dual time, alarm clock and the use of the compass. After the dive, the dive profile can be downloaded to a PC for further analysis with the help of Suunto Dive Manager 2 software. In Nitrox mode, divers have the choice of using two different gas mixes, which are preset before the dive. Choose from 21-100% oxygen content, with the ability to change the partial pressure of oxygen for each mix. During the dive, if you are within the allowable safety factor (maximum operating depth), you can switch to the second gas. Gauge mode can be used either for freediving or technical diving. With freediving, the sampling rate for the log book can be set to one second intervals. When diving in this mode, there is a dual display of dive time and a stopwatch which can be reset. D6 - A Deeper Understanding Suunto D6 has three dive modes: Air, Nitrox, and Gauge. The Air mode is used for diving with standard air, the Nitrox mode for one or two nitrox mixes, and the Gauge mode for use as a bottom timer. When in Nitrox mode, you can accelerate decompression by switching to a gas mix with a higher oxygen percentage. You can preset two different gas mixes (with between 21 and 99% oxygen) and set PO2 values for each individual gas. While diving, it's quick and easy to switch between enabled gas mixes. Gas switching is only allowed for gases that lie within the chosen maximum PO2 limits. CNS and OTU values are displayed using an Oxygen Limit Fraction (OLF) bar graph. In the Gauge mode, Suunto D6 works as a bottom timer, and also provides accurate profile sampling and bookmarking functions. A dive timer with a reset function displays the dive time in minutes and seconds. This is extremely useful for timing accurate bottom times and decompression stops. The integrated digital compass can be accessed from either Time mode or Dive mode, meaning that it's as useful on dry land as it is beneath the waves. Στη λειτουργία AIR, το Suunto D4, είναι ένας εξελιγμένος υπολογιστής κατάδυσης με δυνατότητες πλήρους αποσυμπίεσης. Εκτός από τις ολοκληρωμένες λειτουργίες κατάδυσης το Suunto D4, έχει εκτενείς ικανότητες μνήμης, καταγραφή προφίλ και λειτουργία προγραμματισμού κατάδυσης. Η μνήμη στο Ημερολόγιο / Προφίλ, μπορεί να αποθηκεύσει έως και 80 ώρες των στοιχείων κατάδυσης, με ένα ιστορικό πραγματικού χρόνου κατάδυσης που επίσης καταγράφεται. Χρησιμοποιώντας το πρότυπο της Suunto RGBM αλγόριθμο για υπολογισμούς αποσυμπίεσης, το πρότυπο μπορεί να ρυθμιστεί χρησιμοποιώντας τις Προσωπικές ρυθμίσεις ή τις ρυθμίσεις Υψομέτρου. Οι Στάσεις Βάθους μπορούν επίσης να ενεργοποιηθούν, για να επιτρέψουν τις βαθύτερες Στάσεις Ασφαλείας. Στη λειτουργία Nitrox, το Suunto D4, παρέχει την ίδια λειτουργικότητα, όπως και στην λειτουργία AIR, αλλά επιτρέπει επίσης τη χρήση μειγμάτων nitrox με περιεκτικότητα οξυγόνου 21-50% και ένα ρυθμιζόμενο όριο PO2 0,5-1,6 bar. Στην λειτουργία της Ελεύθερης Κατάδυσης το Suunto D4 παρέχει στο δύτη το ακριβές βάθος, τους καταγεγραμμένους χρόνους καθώς και τους συναγερμούς. Το Suunto D4, είναι προγραμματισμένο να «συλλαμβάνει» το βάθος κατάδυσης τρεις φορές το δευτερόλεπτο ώστε να δίνει ακριβείς πληροφορίες του μέγιστου βάθους, ενώ επίσης καταγράφει το προφίλ μνήμης κάθε δευτερόλεπτο. Ο χρόνος κατάδυσης σε λεπτά και δευτερόλεπτα είναι ευδιάκριτος στο κέντρο της οθόνης. Οι ευπροσάρμοστοι από το χρήστη συναγερμοί μπορούν να ρυθμιστούν εκ των προτέρων για να κρατούν τους δύτες ενήμερους για την πρόοδο τους σε όλη την κατάδυση τους. Μετά την κατάδυση ο χρήστης μπορεί να δει το ημερήσιο ιστορικό κατάδυσης με το πάτημα ενός πλήκτρου. Το Suunto D4, απεικονίζει την βαθύτερη κατάδυση καθώς επίσης και τον μεγαλύτερο χρόνο με το μέγιστο βάθος που έχει επιτευχθεί σε εκείνη τη συγκεκριμένη κατάδυση.
